How can I open Konqueror as root or SUDO...

I would like to be able to use Konqueror or a GUI to moove things around, like putting WallPapers into /User/Share/Wallpapers. But the normal way gives me no access to write to it.

With other versions of Linux I could do this. I am having issues here.
Thanks in advance for any reply.

      Nope.

      Open a console and type:
      Code:
      kdesu konqueror

Or just press Alt+F2. No need to open Konsole. It's called mini-CLI (command line interface) for a reason.

(Of course if you wanted to check out error messages, you should do it in Konsole.)

It's easy to make a Desktop Icon for Konqueror that will open in super user mode. Just right click on the desktop and create a new "Link to Application". Enter all the info necessary to open Konqueror, then click on "Advanced Options" under the "Application" tab. Check the "Run as different user" block and put "root" as the user. Then every time you want to enter Konqueror as root you will have a desktop icon to do so.
