I have dial up and an intenal modem and I doint know how to set it up please help.

When it opens type lspci
This will give you a list of devices attached to the pci slots. It will tell you if the modem is being detected. If so then we can worry about drivers and such. I would first find out if the modem is supported in linux and how.

Bad news - to get a full version you need to pay $19.95.
