wont boot from cd

I put the cd in restart my computer and always boots to xp and yes Im going to run dual boot with two hard drives. I have a msn motherboard. Do I need to swicth it to post or somthing because it works on my laptop.

If the disk works in your laptop it must be right. You need to access the BIOS of your computer and check up the Bootup Order. If it boots straight into XP this suggests that the order is Hard Disk first. You need to have CD-rom booting first.
