Installing Google earth - How to

Hi,
I have downloaded googleearth and it is saved as a BIN file on my home directory, but I have no idea about how to install it.
Is there anybody out there who could be so kind and give some advice.

You're doing it the hard way!

Here's the easy way:

1. http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/

2. On the tab that says "Repository How-to", scroll down to your Kubuntu version, and paste those 2 lines (one at a time, please) into your console window, and hit "Enter" each time. That will enable the new repository.

3. Open Adept manager, click "refresh", then scroll down to Google Earth and select it for installation.

4. Click "Apply" and it will be installed.

5. Send that nasty tarball to the Trashcan!
