Ant2ne, you are a most interesting character! Kubuntu provides you K3b, and you're looking to twiddle the CLI, and introduce all those extra errors!

    OK, how about cdredord? http://cdrecord.berlios.de/old/private/cdrecord.html

Don't you mean cdrecord? So who's introducing 'extra errors?'
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007

        Comptia Linux+ Certification
2.9 Access and write data to record able media (for example: CDRW, hard drive, flash memory devices)
Somehow I don't think they are referring to k3b. They don't exactly specify. So maybe I should change this threads title to "WTF is Comptia looking for: write to CDRW??"

My point, exactly! You put your fingers on the keyboard, and you make errors. You click the mouse on "Burn", and you get a new CD.

You tell comptia that! Personally, I'll point and click every time.

But I think they are looking for a CLI that can automate the backup tasks.
