    Limewire or Ulternate

As you guys all probably realise i am still somewhat of a "newby" to the Kubuntu O.S. and since installing it i have found it somewhat hard to use but with assistance from everyone on here i have worked things out. Now though i have gotten to a point where i have tried everything listed on these forums, followed website instructions, and done everything i possibly could to work this out. What i am wondering is seeing as i have changed over from Windows and am so used to using that O.S is there something i can install, and how do i do it step by step, similar to the windows version of Limewire? I have as i said followed all the steps on the www.limewire.com website and have had no success and also tried following instructions on other posts on here but somehow i always seem to get lost.
Can anyone on here tell me what there is and then, as i have said, help me install this program step by step. You guys have been really helpfull thus far and i hope you can be of more from here on in.

    Thanx Puddles.

I would install Frostwire which is pretty much the same as Limewire with the diff that there is no pro version since Frostwire comes with all the features activated.
You can install it through automatix
    Check this out

    http://www.getautomatix.com/

Try that and you will be more that convinced , it will run perfectly on Kubuntu

I'm afraid I can't help you with limewire.
However, there are some similar programs easier to set up...
gtk-gnutella, which is in the repos, so it is installable via Adept, Synaptic, etc; you may find the interface lacking, but it is stable and works very well
frostwire which provides a deb package, has a more polished look and it's easier to use

Can i just say a great big thanx to MepisReign for your assistance. I managed to download Frostwire and it seems to be working perfectly fine now. As i said in my original post on here. The people on this site are great and have been very helpful with my transition from the horrid Windows O.S to the Amazing Linux O.S with the help you have given.
        Again thanx everyone
