I'm running XP on an MSI MS6390 motherboard and wanted to put Kubuntu on an old harddrive in place of it. Boot went fine and install completed but it id'ed my nic, usb, and audio incorrectly. MSI is no help. All their drivers are for microsoft. I should be able to tell Kubuntu to us the right drivers if I could get some idea of where to change what. Without network support, I have to put XP back in and search the web for help. If I could get the nic to work, I can pluck away at the other stuff.
Where do I tell Kubuntu to use rhine-via instead of realtek8376?
