    changing default program to open files

    whenever i click on an mp3 or wav or any other audio thing it alwaysopens in audacity.... i'd much rather it open in amaroK. can someone tell me how to change the default program on things?

    go to system button (beside K Menu in lower left side) -->Settings --> KDE components --> File Associations --> Audio --> X-mp3
    Click on the application preference order and move amaroK to the top
    Click on OK

      The same works for right-clicking the file, choosing properties and click the little "tool" button (edit file type).

      For the rest like dsquared mentioned.
