emblems in ubuntu - anything similar in kubuntu?

    Hi guys,

I liked the concept of 'emblems' in ubuntu, where you could make small images appear over the top of icons to signify different things. Is there anything similar in kubuntu?
Maybe a package I could install that would add a similar functionality?

    Thanks,
    burnsy

    Hmm - there is this:

    Emblems Hack
    http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show...?content=52193

    Description:
This is a simple hack to kdelibs-3.5.5 (and 3.5.6) that adds basic emblem support, like in GNOME. (It doesn't use the same format, though.)

    Requirements:
    - KDE 3.5.5 or 3.5.6
    - Extended Attribute support (xattrs must be supported by the kernel and the current filesystem - add the user_xattr option to fstab if necessary)
And you need to recompile kdelibs.

    For kde4 there will be:
Emblems + Text Tags + Tenor

      Thanks.
Looks like I'll just be hanging out for KDE 4 then.
