I have a dual boot system and I'm having trouble starting xserver. does anyone know how i can access /var/log/xorg.0.log from windows so I can post it on the internet for help?

You can use the free software explore2fs if your filesystem is ext2 or ext3...
If not tell us what is the fs, I will try to find something to read it.
If you're using explore2fs, you should drill til (hda?)/var/log and then export file you want.
Another software is partition magic (with fs browser option) but it's not freeware.
