TRansferring free space from NTFS to linuxext3

I have 65 GB allocated to my windows OS . that is NTFS memory . and some 10 GB to linuxext3 which is being used by my KUbuntu distro .

Out of that 65 GB NTFS memory , some 32 GB is free space , so I want to transfer some 20 GB of this 32 GB memory to my Kubuntu distro , that is to the linux ext3 drive , I want to transfer the free NTFS memory to my present linuxext3 drive in which my kubuntu is installed.

if possible tell me a way to this in my WInXP , or what KUbuntu repository can do my job easier ..plz tell , as I want to use kubuntu more often , i am having data problems , as now i am out of the experimentation phase of kubuntu , i want more space in my linux distro , so that I can use it more often...plz help...

    you can do it.
you need to shrink your win ntfs and extend the linux ext3.
you can't do it while those file systems are active.
you can use this live cd.
    download and burn it.
then boot your box with it and...well, it should be easy enough.

    warnings:
    a) backup critical data first
    b) defrag your win ntfs before actually resizing it
    c) careful not to shrink the ntfs too much
    d) a mistake could totally screw your system: if you're not sure...ask

Yes, I have the LiveUSB version in a pendrive and resized NTFS partitions with no problem. Gparted is permanent software in this pendrive.
