I have one fat32 partition and one ext2 partition on kubuntu 7.04. I could only transfer music from my pen drive to the fat32 partition. It refuses to copy to the ext2 part.
Could anyone tell me why?

More specific, I'd ask questions along the line of:
- Who owns the file / folder to be copied from / to?
- Is the copying user allowed to write to the target?
