The update tool from the tray is giving me the following error:
Another application is using the packaging system database. (Probably some other Adept application or apt-get or aptitude). Please close the other application before using this one.
There is no application running that would do this (a previous update using the Adept Manager crashed). I rebooted but the issue isn't resolved, so there is probably a corrupt file I need to rebuild or a pid file that needs deleted correct? Any indications as to which one? I am not familiar with the adept or apt systems.
Thank you,
-Jim Stapleton
