wireless network problem in IBM thinkpad 600e

    Hi,

I have AirLink+ pcmcia network card which was working fine with Windows OS.

Recently, I have installed kubuntu latest version on new HDD. Everything seems OK except my wireless network card which uses 'Texas Instruments ACX 111" chipset. KNetworkManager can recognise the card and shows SSID of my neighbours as well as mine. But I tried with WEP/WAP security password and without security with no luck.

Can anybody help me to resolve this problem? Please let me know if you need any logfiles.

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Regards,
    Pritam

    WEP/WAP
I hope that you really mean WPA! If you really think you're secure in WEP see this Ubuntu Community Help Wiki page. For more constructive help see THIS WIKI PAGE and (especially) the references listed therein.

Remember, never say anything with wireless that you wouldn't want to see on a billboard.
