Hi everybody...
I am new with Linux .. my friends told me to install the Kubuntu on my device it is awesome..
But I have some problems..
I've installed the 7.04 release on my Toshiba A135-S4437 Laptop and I have the following not working:
1- Sound : when I try to increase the volume its max is 10% and no sound is coming out.
2- Wireless: the wireless connection is not working.
Please help me if u can.

* Note: I've install the kubuntu 6.06 and everything was working.

I notice this is your first post, so Welcome although I'm not a moderator/supervisor on here. One thing that needs to be noted when you post here or elsewhere in order to get help, you must be specific. In your case, you have issues to two different things but you failed to mentioned the specific details such as name/make/model of both hardware devices in question. When you post back with that information, I would also like to see the results of this command

sudo lspci -v

for starters. I might need to look at another file, but let's start with the above command.
