Files are not copying

when i tried to copy a file from one drive to the other it says thats i have no right to write data on this?(or something like this)
but am able to copy any file from any disk to my desktop
help me out .am using kubuntu

What "drive" are you attemting to write to? Internal? External? Local? Remote?

Be that as it may: this looks like another case of "inadequate permissions" to me - which is quite common as well as relatively easy to be solved, as a search through these forums would (read: should) have revealed to you :P
