Ok, I have the basic idea but because I have no DVD player on this compaq presairo 1200 with 6gb I am forced to install drapper, then upgrade to to feisty, Each time I edit my source files for myself I get a slightly different result.
Goals are:
able to play battle of wesnord = most important really great game
upgrade to feisty = worked before on this machine
play mp3 with amarok = important
install vlc = important
a onetime perfect source list = important as I wish to use if I reinstall
Source list reads below as:
# Line commented out by installer because it failed to verify:
#deb http://au.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ dapper main restricted
# Line commented out by installer because it failed to verify:
#deb-src http://au.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ dapper main restricted
