    Downgrade form gutsy to feisty

1.Is it possible to go back to Feisty fawn from gutsy?
I changed feisty to gutsy in /etc/apt/sources.list,
now I want to go back to Feisty is it possible? Without messing up my system.

    2. I have my pc configured to connect to internet (ppoeconf) and share it on the whole LAN. (My PC is the gateway to internet, IP 192.168.0.1) Is it possible to save these settings, lets say to a flash drive, install a fresh feisty and just load these settings without effort?

P.S. I don't remember what settings are for internet (passwords, etc, ...) I must make sure I don't cut the internet off for the whole company

Re: Downgrade form gutsy to feisty

I have downgraded almost all packages to feisty using aptitude, but my system is still considered as gutsy.

What are the core packages that change the version of Linux?
    Please help me

EDIT: I found my internet configuration settings and reinstalled feisty. The funny thing was that I DID downgrade packages with aptitude, but I still don't know how

I wouldn't be real sure, but I think that if you want to go back a version, you would need to do a reinstall. Someone may contradict me, though, and explain the procedure.
