Hi guys,
I'm trying to build rdesktop ver 1.4.1 on my new Kbuntu setup.
When I run configure, I've encountered the following error:
checking for X... no
Based on my search via google, other OS are suggesting the absence of X due to the missing "XFree86-devel-<version-number>".
Ubuntu/Debian seems to be moving away from XFree86 to X.org
I'm confused on the package that I should install since XFree86 is pointing to ver 4.3 while X.org is pointing to version 6.8
I can locate the packages on Debian.org, but is that the place I should be looking at for the x-devel packages?
Does anyone know which package to use for Ubuntu 5.1?
Any suggestions are welcomed & appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help...
Rgds,
Dennis
