Well I logged into kubuntu and everything is zoomed in.I have to use the mouse to scroll around the desktop. Even the login screen is zoomed in. Does anybody know what happened and if so could you provide a detailed explanation on how to fix it.Thanks.

Try: Ctrl Alt + or - (this should scroll available resolutions)

Did you ?
- Edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf
- Change something in the System Settings > Computer Admin > monitor and Display
- Played some game with non default resolution
