Hi,
I've installed the Kubuntu Linux on a SCSI disk (connected to my Athlon XP 2500+ Barton based computer).
Recently, I've added a new IDE 250GB WD HD and installed the WinXP on it (for the kids gaming and docs
).
The switching between OS-s is performed via bios (by sellecting the appropriate boot device).
The WinXP recognizes the SCSI disk, but the Kubutu doesn't recognize the IDE WD disk.
Is there a way to make Kubuto to recognize a IDE disk, since it isn't displayed by the KInfoCenter utility ? I can't mount the device because it isn't recognized ...
I'm planning to run the WinXP under VMWare.
Thanks
Zeev
