How do I fit an image to the screen in mplayer. I stretch the window, but the playable image stays the same size.

Re: mplayer stretching the playable image
In my kubuntu/mplayer:
Mplayer > Preferences > Video > Available drivers: x11 X11(xImage/Shm) -> black box around - no fullscreen
But if Available drivers: gl X11(OpenGL) or gl2 X11(OpenGL) - multiple texture version -> fullscreen working ok. Also xv seem to work.Before you edit, BACKUP !

Re: mplayer stretching the playable image
If i use x11 X11(xImage/Shm) drivers and stretch window -> Image stays original size (with black edge), no scaling.
So if i have 320x200 clip and i press f (fullscreen) -> there is tiny picture in the middle of screen (1680x1050) with huge black edges.
If i use gl/lg2 drivers and stretch window -> Image scale is same as window scale.
So if i have 320x200 clip and i press f (fullscreen) -> there is screen size picture.
As mplayer says:

Re: mplayer stretching the playable image
Thanks, that wasn't exactly the situation, but close. xv/X11 was the one I needed =). So now I gotta figure out things like, how do I keep it from changing back to the default size and stuff like that. 8)Registered Linux User: 450747<br />Registered Ubuntu User: 16269
