    Wireless Problem

I just installed Kubuntu and I have no idea how to install my Linksys Wireless PCI card. I tried using XP instillation files and that didn't work. What should I do?

Please see this page at the Ubuntu Community Help Wiki. It talks about Kubuntu Edgy but (I believe) the instructions for Feisty are the same. I don't use wireless myself, so I can't vouch for this. If you have trouble, please come back and let us know. Someone who really understands wifi will be able to help you out.

      Re: Wireless Problem

I looked at the page and there is nothing stating how to install or use a wireless adapter.

You are right. Try this page:

        https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/

Scroll down and look for your specific card. I have several Linksys adapters and I imagine yours has a Broadcom chip. If it is a 54G card, use instructions for ndiswrapper to get max performance. If you search for your specific adapter, I am sure you will find quite a bit of info.
