      Re: k3b errors

It sounds a little desperate there stepan --- I don't actually know what is going on with your K3B, but here's a suggestion. K3B is kind of "young" as a package, and it did have some problems during the recent Feisty development period, although it seems to be working OK on my Feisty system now.

If I were you, I would try another DVD burning package, in order to learn whether the problem is within K3B, or is in the Linux OS/driver domain. I have used Brasero recently, for CD burning -- not sure if it does DVDs as well. Gnomebaker is another one. If you can get your drive to burn a DVD with one of the others, then you'll know it is a K3B problem. If the same problem happens with any burning package, then you'll know it is something about your driver/drive combination in the OS.

      HTH a little ... :P

I don't know if it is relevent or not but sometime ago I saw some post recemending against the use of RW media for iso's. I have never tried it and don't know if it is still a problem.
