The utility fsck 1.39 seems to have a default setting to run after pc is started up 30 times. I tend to start up and shut down my Lappy a number of times a day and so this utility will often run every 4 or 5 days.
Is there a way to extend the number of times dev/hda1 can be mounted before fsck1.39 kicks in and forces a scan ?
