Thinking about setting up the kids with a computer to tear up. They will have internet access so, What Parental Control devices are available for them? A quick search in adept or this forum revealed nothing using "parental" as the search word. (not sure what else to search with). Google was less than helpful too.

Since i dont think that there is such a program for linux, im thinking perhaps install one such as k-9 webfilter, under wine, then install firefox under wine, and then remove all linux web browsers (for konqueror you'll have to install a replacement file viewer)
then whenever you access the internet, do it in the emulated windows version of firefox. It's a hassle, but if you want to keep your kids safe, its worth it imo. -
