Windows Media Player & USB/ Serail Port Wireless Modem

Hi all,

I am new user to linux. last days ago, i received free cds of kubuntu version 6.10 ( live + intallable cd ) . I want to to perform two task.
Can any body help me in this reagard?

I want to play Widows Media Player 9 / Higher files on Kubuntu. How can i do this ? It is very essential to me!!!!!!!. I donot wanto install kubuntu but i want to use it only in live form.

2ndly, I have a HUAWEI Fixed Wireless Terminal ETS - 2051. I want to use it for internet. How can i do this ?
