CLI Email Noooobie Question

I am about a year into using Linux, going thru RH9/FC4/Knoppix3.6/ubuntu and now finally deciding on Kubuntu (I use laptop....KDE better!). Now I am way off into learning to do as much as I can CLI (can do mySQL, word-processing/webmastery in VIM, Emacs or nano, etc) and am asking about getting my email there (BASH). What are my mail utility choices and what is the best (most popular)? I prefer text emails.

Oh, and WINDOWS SUCKS! Freedom and power to the people, man!

Mutt is one well known CLI mail app.

8)Thanx! I will try Mutt. (for f1rem0th: yes. I know many won't agree, but I like the least gui action I can get.) I am setting up a different terminal on different desktops, and keeping them up as my organizer in leueueueeu of using the KDE gui. Am I weird enough to be a geek? (LOL)
