That happened also in the earlier linux distribution with KDE I was using, but with codeine. Now it is kaffeine. There's a link in the main K menu to kaffeine, but it does nothing. I also can't exclude it through kmenuedit (I did save after the modification).
It does disappear momentarily in kmenu edit, but is still there in the K menu right after, and is still there when I restart X or the linux altogether. It also is there once again in kmenuedit itself when I rerun it, immediatelly after excluding the item.
I remember searching for the text code in the "applications-kmenuedit.menu" file (or something like it) for that in the other linux distribution, but I couldn't find the corresponding code.
Is that normal, or a sort of bug that is happening only with me? It's not a total annoyance though, as long as I remember that the button is void, and it does not start accumulating many other void items as the time passes.
