Recently I changed distributions to Kubuntu edgy and have been enjoying how it works. Tonight I attempted to update
to the feisty release. I looked up the instructions on the kubuntu site (http://kubuntu.org/announcements/7.0...se.php#upgrade)
and enabled the edgy-updats and added deb http://kubuntu.org/packages/kde-356-pre-feisty-upgrade/ edgy main.
I got the following message:
The APT Database could not be opened! This may be caused by
incorrect APT configuration of some similar problem. Try running
apt-setup and apt-get update in terminal and see if it helps to
resolve the problem.
Now I can not get Adept do anything other than report the following error.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how can I get out of this situation so I can complete the upgrade to feisty
Thanks,
Lee
