    can you use apt-get

Hi. I'm currently a Mepis Linux user, which uses apt-get as it's package management system. I noticed that Kubuntu uses something called adept. How does this differ from apt-get and could I still use apt-get with Kubuntu?

Adept is a front -end for Apt.

I just want to make sure I'm understanding you....Adept is a graphical front end for apt-get...much like Synaptic or Kpackage?

I was wondering how many of you use apt-get for daily package administration task instead of adept or other graphical package managers ?

As for me, I'm an apt lover I always use apt-get
          cheers!

I use apt-get when I know what I want. But when I don't know what I want, for example, if I want to install a game, I'll just use the filters in Adept and see what I like.
