Hi,
I tried this on another forum here, but thought maybe here would be more appropriate. I have also tried posting on the mailing lisst for the software concerned, but so far nothing.
I need to compile KPhotoAlbum to run on windows XP
Having never done any compling before, the instructions at:
http://wiki.kde.org/tiki-index.php?p...bum+on+Windows
mean almost nothing to me.
I installed cygwin, and managed to get the listed packages installed.
That is where I ran out of knowledge.
Anyone able to give me guidance on compiling
The instructions say :
Configure, compile and install
using the following commands,
compile libkexif, libkipi, kipi-plugins as usual with
./configure --without-arts
make
make inst
but where do these get typed in windows? the command window that is the only option I can think of but I tried that and nothing.
Is it a problem with paths, directories etc?
I have started to use KphotoAlbum on my machine in Kubuntu, but the girlfriend wants to use it on the Win Xp machine but this has really got me lost.
Thanks
