    kweather applet?

So I've been looking to find a good weather applet. I know superkaramba has a nice eye candy weather applet; but I was wondering about alternatives.
I had read an article in Linux Journal recently, which seems to reference a weather applet that should be available by right clicking the kicker panel, selecting weather, and then adding to panel. Simple as that. Problem is that it isn't an option when I try to add an applet. Was this something that was removed? Is it something I need to add in? I just want a nice little weather icon and current temp to live in my panel which I can click on to get more info.
    thanks in advance,
    aleska

    Re: kweather applet?

According to info on the KDE home page, KDE Toys (which contains contains the kweather applet) is part of the KDE distribution.

Check to see that you have the kde-base/kdetoys package installed.
