The easy answer is that you want softlinks. The harder one:

To make links from Konqueror, just drag and drop the folder that you want to link in the place that you want it to be linked. When you drop the folder a menu should appear asking you what to do with the file, choose link.

If you have two konqueror windows open or split your view in konqueror, View menu, Split View... or:
Ctrl+Shift+R (right/left panes)
or
Ctrl+Shift+T(top/bottom panes)
Then drag and drop your folder to the desired location from one pane and pick 'Link here' when it pops up you'll get a symlink.
Oh, you can just right click in some empty space and create new link to location too and enter the path and link name you want.
