Streaming audio and vidio Real or Media player

I'd like to play streaming audio and video from the web but don't know how. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.

Search for mplayer, realplayer, mplayer-plugin in adept or synaptic (if, like me that is what you use) and install.

Thanks for the help. You were right. I does work most of the time. Any ideas about what to do when it doesn't? (Some of the NFL football sights don't work.)

Well, restart the movie , especially on nfl.com. Sometimes their movie streams stop. I think that is because of overload. But that is a guess.It is a hassle, and will be solved witth a bit a bit of time. Then again so are trojans, spyware, etc. which, fortunately we don't have to waste our precious brain cells with herew
