i tried installing a real player for fire fox made it to drive will not play files tried using helix player could not get the bin file to run i was even going to try using apt-get but gettign the feeling there isn't a real good guide to that either.

bin files as executables are run doing
sudo chmod +x file.bin
then run it
sudo ./file.bin
.bin/.cue files are a compression formate to burn svd vcd ---- so yes mplayer can view the .bin
