    easy question for you, ffmpeg.exe and vdownloader.exe downloaded but...

    ffmpeg.exe and vdownloader.exe downloaded to my home file but how do I install them?

    Those look like MS Windows programs(.exe). What are you trying to do?

      They are MS programs:

      vdownloader.exe
      "downloads Youtube, Google and Grinvi videos on your computer in mpeg or avi format"

      ffmpeg.exe
      "a collection of free software that can record, convert and stream digital audio and video"

      fleamailman - Linux is not MS Windows. While the look of the KDE desktop (you are using Kubuntu, yes?) may give you the impression that Windows applications can be run in it, they can't - directly. And while certain Linux applications can allow *some* MS Windows programs to be run under Linux (check out Wine for one), they can't/won't run *all* MS Windows programs.
      Windows no longer obstructs my view.
