DVD vs. CD

Hello - I'm sorry if this topic is covered elsewhere, after a quick search I didn't find any concrete topics.

I was wondering what the major differences were between downloading the CD .ISO vs. DVD .ISO? I couldn't find anything documenting what content these two versions had that may be the same or different.

Are there any obvious advantages/disadvantages?

Re: DVD vs. CD

The DVD actually offers the Live CD portion as well as other methods of installation. If I'm not mistaken, it offers the server install portion as well and some of the Alternate CD portions. If you don't plan on doing different types of installs, just Desktop, then the CD should be fine.
