i did a search when logged in to my xp . I found out after 48hrs of searching. That you might have to turn off plug in play in your bios.(searched Linux on Google) I did that and hopefully that will work. I am thankful for all the help here. 
- Please do not use the CODE tag when pasting content that contains formatting (colored, bold, underline, italic, etc).
The CODE tag displays all content as plain text, including the formatting tags, making it difficult to read.
