    Boot from CD or Windows

I have been making a USB Kubuntu disk as proposed here:

    http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/inde...opic=3081345.0

It went rather well (but don't do it on a Windows PC unless you know how to recreate your MBR).

But then - I don't understand the instructions for making the CD.

I have been looking around, and did find how to make a boot diskette - but most of the PCs I will be using don't have any diskette station. (And don't boot from USB). I've been toying with the idea of some "script" that would make it possible to start Kubuntu on a USB disk from Windows (I did keep a small FAT32 partition on the USB disk). This way I just would have to carry the USB drive, and use more or less any PC.

    Is this possible?

If not - where can I find how to make a boot CD explained so that even I understand?
