Problems Installing icons

When I try to unzip icons downloaded from KDE-look to /usr/share/icons I get an error message saying that "You do not have write permission to this folder. Please provide another folder."

How can I get permission to write to this folder

Don't unzip the icons!

Simply open System Settings (or KControl) go to the Appearance section then Icons and press on "Install new theme" - look for the tar in the dialog box click it and it will install it by itself.
