apt-get problem!!!! very annoying

alright here is my problem i tried to install the mcf240ccuppswrapper deb for my Brother printer... i followed the instructions as posted on the site (http://solutions.brother.com/linux/s..._install6.html) and installled the lpr driver without much problem (said it couldnt find directory but that was fixed) and it installed properly. so now i go to the cupps wrapper and it wont install i get many errors here is what i got to be precise:

so i give up and decide to do it some other time but the problem is that i cant get any apt-get commands /apps to work (eg. Automatix) and i get this thing that says the mcfcuppswrapper needs do be installed but i cant find the archive..

could someone please help me? maybe even make it so i can get my printer to work?

try running

sudo apt-get -f install

that might help.

I just went through some printer installation "education" -- see here:

Maybe if you go to the Gutenprint site that is mentioned, you'll be able to find a driver and install it like I did for my Epson.

no they dont have drivers for the mcf 240c

i installed it using there drivers perfectly on a freespire desktop

but the bigger problem is i cant even use the apt-get because of this
