    Can I install in one language and then change it for another

    Hi, I am swiss, I would like to install in English and then perhaps change everything to either german or french depending on what job I get.

    In Ubuntu you can choose a language as default or for a session from the sign-on screen. In Kubuntu it might be a bit more difficult. K-Menu>System Settings>Region and Language>Install New Language (French and German - it'll take a while)>Add Language (Other). The Select System Button sets the default.

    (Edit) Forgot to say that on the Regional & Language screen when you have more that one language shown in the white box you can change them by clicking the Move up and Move down buttons. The top language seems to be the one chosen for the session and it changes back to the default after logging out
