    Wireless card troubles

Hello. I'm new to linux and I have done about 30m of research, but have failed to find any answers. I recently installed Kubuntu Edgy onto my computer and am trying to connect to the internet. I have a DLink G132 Wireless USB card, but can't seem to get it to work. I've read about ndiswrapper and ndisgtk, but I don't seem to grasp the concept of how this all works.

I have a USB flash drive, which is about the only way I can think of to transfer files from WindowsXP to Kubuntu.

    Can somebody help me out?
