    Help Me Please Multi Problem

I'm sorry This may get negative, Here's my list

Firefox not working and I need google sync for my Mac

mp3 support will not install using the amarok wizard

package manager asks for password and then dose not start

(rant) I really hate having to put my password in for almost every thing I do Like connecting to a WiFi hot spot, I'm tempted to change my long password to 123 or running as root just so I can get some work done.

networking with Macs running OS X, is there any way I can use bonjour

Easy Ubuntu is not so easy it dose nothing just asks for a password

Mac Itunes, I need to move my song ratings over to amarok

I could not see berly in the the package manager even after a update

Try the script method to " Installing Firefox on Ubuntu" at http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/firefox
mp3 support will not install using the amarok wizard
Assuming you are using Edgy Eft have you installed libxine-extracodecs as shown at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Re...ea78ba9ee5caa9
package manager asks for password and then dose not start
This seems to be a bit of a bug in Edgy. Have a look at the post "Can't launch Adept/Synaptic/Administrator mode" at http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/index.php?topic=11612.0
I really hate having to put my password in for almost every thing I do
Not sure about the advisability of this - but have a look at "Have sudo process command without a password" on http://occy.net/node/135
Easy Ubuntu is not so easy it dose nothing just asks for a password
    Try Automatix2 instead at http://www.getautomatix.com/

The use of Beryl depends which issue you are using, Have a look at something like the Beryl Wiki at http://wiki.beryl-project.org/wiki/I...eryl_on_Ubuntu.

Don't know much about networking with Macs running OS X or Mac Itunes...

Re: Help Me Please Multi Problem

sounds to me like your DNS server is incorrectly configured.

I had a very similar problem.

      open kate (text editor)

      and open /etc/resolv.conf

if it contains the text 192.168.x.x then you need to contact your ISP and get the DNS server addresses. that should fix it. however you may have to edit your router config also.

that should fix your firefox and amarok problems.

Re: Help Me Please Multi Problem

        Hi thanks for your help

after a reinstall I tried to upgrade to 7.04 beta but when I added the web address http://kubuntu.org/~jriddell/tmp/arc...e-kde356-i386/ ./ to the Repositories and appled, closed and opened I got

"The APT Database could not be opened! This may be caused by incorrect APT configuration or some similar problem. Try running apt-setup and apt-get update in terminal and see if it helps to resolve the problem."

        Could you help me? thanks

          The correct repository line is:
          deb http://kubuntu.org/~jriddell/tmp/arc...e-kde356-i386/ ./
So you need to add 'deb' in front of the repository address
