    can't start firefox after scroll fix

    i installed firefox with apt-get and it worked perfectly! but the problem started after i installed this:
    System settings -> Appearance -> GTK styles and fonts-> install scrollbar fix... (for Firefox and Thunderbird)
    now, i can start firefox with the konsole or by the icon, but the firefox window won't show up!
    sometimes when i start firefox the "start new session or continue with the old pages" window will come up :S
    it seemes like it's running behind but i can't see it..
    i've tried to reinstall mozilla and mozilla-firefox but firefox wont work.
    but mozilla works perfectly and i can even use lolifox.
    using kubuntu.
    can anyone help?

    Did you delete all Mozilla profiles before installing Firefox and Thunderbird from scratch?

    The point I'm driving at: the (con-) text of this "fix" reads as follows (emphasis mine):

    "This can be fixed by installing some files into your Mozilla profile."

    And profiles are what remains (!) from removing stuff without explicitly purging as well.

      no i didn't delete all mozilla profiles before installing from scratch,

      i thought that the profiles would disappere after i apt-get remove/autoremove/clean/autoclean on all programs that started with mozilla and firefox

      so how do i delete all mozilla profiles?

        I'd attempt to "purge-remove" all Mozilla packages, as described in the APT manual.
