I originally installed Kubuntu (6.10) on a small partition on my hard drive to try it out. I would now like to add a 2nd partition to it to put my files on - photo's music, etc (which are on the 1st partition at the moment - but will soon run out of space!!)
How can i do this?
I have tried using the gnome partition editor, and even ended up with a drive i could see under media - but i could not not write to it.
I have now removed that again partition now.
So back to my original question how can i put another Linux partition on my hard drive that i can write and store my files on?
I am getting very frustrated by the whole thing at the moment as I seem to be going round in circles!! I have looked for the forums - and cant see any postings about this subject - am i asking for something that cant be done?
