A Step By Step Guide In Installing Opera Browser

Hello.

I've configured Kubuntu (Visually) how I like it but, having great difficulty installing Opera. I have the file sitting in my folder but, no matter what I do it won't install.

Double Clicking does nothing. I'm pretty much stumped.

Can someone explain what procedures are needed to install Opera?

Generally, thats the beauty of kubuntu/ubuntu/debian,

you may install almost everything with

sudo apt-get install anysoftware

where anysoftware is opera in your case.

You may need to edit your sources.list however as the article describes

#sudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list
