    How do I get to Firefox?

    I know the default browser is Konqueror, but I want to use Firefox. At first, I tried to install, but then realized it was already installed. I'm using 6.10.

    Thanks, Greg

    Alt + Space
    - Then type in firefox, it should autocomplete, if and when it does, press the Enter key

    Alt + F2
    - Then type in firefox, and then press the Enter key or the OK button

    KMenu -> Internet -> Firefox
    - If Firefox did not show up in your KMenu after installation, try right clicking on the KMenu, selecting edit, and then when the KMenu Editor opens up, click the save button and close. This fixes the icons/shortcuts not showing up after installation sometimes.

      Regarding that last part about Firefox not showing up after installing, it only happens on Dapper mostly. But if it happens to you, another alternative way to update your K Menu is to use this command in Konsole:

      Code:
      kbuildsycoca --incremental
      Ignore any errors you might see.

        I tried those options, but still no go. I'll keep working on it.

          If you enter

          Code:
          firefox
          in Konsole, what does that give you?

            It's working now. It wasn't installed. I added the universe and multiverse and ran the updates that showed up and things just started clicking.

            Thanks.
