Hello,
When I start up linux I get a nice black screen with a list of operating systems I could boot.
In the beginning it was just ubuntu version xxxx.16 and windows xp
after I did an update (which the computer said I should do) another one showed up at the list.
same name as the one above it.
Yesterday I did another update as requested by the system. And voila another boot option appeared but with the xxxx.17 extension. I currently choose the highest number to boot. I think it are kernel numbers or something (isn't kernal unpopped pocorn?) How long will this list become? ANd can I get rid of it? I just want it to boot Kubuntu. I dont need the option for win xp cause Kubuntu is on a separate HD and I use my Bios boot selector to choose operating systems. (Win XP still being default if no keyboard buttons are pressed)
Thanks.
